A passing comment by Tex, one of the denizens of IBO IRC, made in the chat. Tex is one of the few female regulars of the channel, and consequently gets rather a lot of attention, especially with the in-your-face ass-kicking attitude she’s adopted for dealing with guys online. An amusing remark and also something I stole for the opening line of this piece.
